Every trip deserves a mascot; it's something extra to take photos of when the scenery gets too boring, and something to talk to when you're getting lonely (and somewhat crazy). This is 'Sparkles', the mascot for now, aka what I packed instead of another pair of socks.
Japan Jaunt
I moved to Japan at the end of September, and it's finally time to go on another cycling tour. This is a shorter trip of around two weeks and has gone through many permutations already. It started as a trip from Fukuoka to Tokyo. The only things that have stayed the same are cycling and the timeframe of my spring break. My mother has since invited herself along to explore Kyushu and Shikoku. After a rough start, the latest plan is to simply explore Kyushu.
